Experimentally Verifying Cosmic Expansion Is Cause of Gravity

Picture
The other day I joined a physics forum (probably not the one that banned me for life several years ago) just to ask a question, because I really didn't know. The question essentially was "How well accepted, or not, is the idea that gravity is caused by cosmic expansion?". I harvested a couple of nasty remarks before the mod cut off commenting. So, we have the final answer to that, I'm sure. Apparently, either I'm the only one who's ever succeeded in a formal proof or nobody has ever had a chance to hear of any others. Now if it had been Einstein's idea instead of Friedman's, that's what the theory of relativity would say now. Einstein had a flare for suggesting experiments that would confirm his theory, such as the deflection of starlight during an eclipse. The results of the Eddington expedition confirmed Einstein's prediction and won him a ticker tape parade in New York, but his theories were never well understood because they entail deep logical contradictions and convoluted mathematics.

But since you and I clearly see the truth for ourselves, would there be any possibility of also contriving an experiment to demonstrate that resistance to expanding space by mass is the cause of gravity? Either mechanism easily leads to Newton's laws of force and gravitation. Indeed, cosmic expansion proves that both expansion and resistance to it are properties of mass. Then the force of resistance depends on the mass of the Earth and to a much lesser extent our own, all things expanding outwards towards each other but that of the Earth at a far greater rate because of its larger mass. It seems Friedman believed that expansion was not a property of mass, but if only resistance to expansion was the property then bodies of mass would have no effect on others. Both effects must then be inherent properties of mass.

So collisions are inevitable. We know that expansion is a combination of expansions by neighboring bodies, local masses and overall cosmic expansion of the universe. All the references to cosmic expansion in these writings assume that local gravity results both from cosmic and local expansions. Everything that is matter is expanding, but since that everything includes yardsticks and clocks, expansion can never be detected by human experience or experiment. Some believe this present illusion was intentionally crafted to be immune from revelation. We can only know that gravitational expansion exists from the redshifts of remote galaxies. This assumed fact is very well established and embraced by mainstream physics.

So it is difficult to prove something that lies outside our normal experience, but then we do accept by inference that cosmic redshift is proof that space, being filled with matter, is expanding. How so? Let's first examine an interesting experiment called LIGO. You may wish to find out more about it, but LIGO is a very, very large interferometer compared to the one Michelson and Morley used to prove that there was no ether in space and which was supposed to verify Einstein's relativity. From that experiment nobody can argue that two beams going in different directions will always return in phase. That experiment was big. There is a second LIGO in Washington State and another in Florida, each having right angle arms four kilometers long. The idea is that when a big event occurs such as two colliding black holes, a ripple of intense gravity will lengthen one of the arms and the diffraction pattern will shift.

Of course, we know from Einstein's relativity or by now the simple fact of observation that both length and time contract equally with increasing gravitational density. So, naturally, if the path of one light beam is suddenly shortened more than the other, its return distance will be shorter and the diffraction pattern will move. Or would it? Since there have been numerous such measurements of cosmic events since 2015, it certainly must be a sound idea. But you do see the problem by now, don't you? The path will not be shortened from the standpoint of the laser beam. You remember the Pound-Rebka experiment that proved clock speed is slower in a stronger gravitational field (gravitational potential in school textbooks), and that a meter stick shrinks by the same amount. And, you do recall the definition of a meter as being a certain number of wavelengths of a certain spectrum of light? Or, we might have defined the meter as the time it takes light to cover a certain distance. Either way, clocks and meters do not change throughout different gravitational potentials for the photon passing through but only to "fixed" or otherwise remote observers. In other words, as far as the two beams of light traveling through different gravitational densities are concerned, there is no change in distance traveled. So, as Michelson-Morley proved so well and what Einstein took credit for, there should be no change in the diffraction pattern.

If one arm of a LIGO was placed next to a black hole it would indeed be shorter than the other by the reckoning of Einstein's bystanders, but not by the path of the laser beams. Let's you and me pretend to be photons each traveling in different directions. If I'm going through the shortened arm then it will appear to well heeled physicists that I'll arrive sooner than my partner beam and disrupt the diffraction pattern. Oh, God help us all! Einstein and Michelson-Morley taught us that whether the two beams stay in phase or not depends on the distances we photons measure, not the ones physicists measure. As I travel towards the black hole, my path is shorter, but my clock is too, the result being that my measurement of distance will always be exactly as seen by the photon in the other arm and we will recombine with no differences. This is true no matter what gravitational gradients exist along the way. Does that mean "they" are lying about measuring gravitational waves with LIGO? I would like to believe they were self deceived before spending 1.1 billion bucks, but knowing the government so well it was we dumb masses who were misled about how the machine should work. So, why then does it work? There is no other possibility than that a gravitational wave would produce tension on the mirrors. The tiniest gravitational blip (and ONLY that) would definitely knock an 88 pound mirror off its post. The paths of the laser beams are unchanged, but the tiniest shift in gravitation will mess with those mirrors. Knowing what you know now, this video is a MUST. Click on: LIGO VIDEO.  It not only reveals a technical marvel but at 9:00 the scientist lets the cat out of the bag by stating outright that the ONLY thing that can move the mirror is a gravitational wave. You see it now?

With frightening candor, a LIGO technician acknowledges this contradiction (go to 5:20 in this video https://bit.ly/34pbaH9). His job is to make fools of those deranged conspiracy theorists with characteristic official double talk. There's a delightful example of the same kind of spoof on YouTube where a guy builds a Michelson-Morley interferometer to test what happens if instead of rotating parallel, it is rotated up and down. This is the link: https://bit.ly/37vaqSN. The pattern observed would be many orders of magnitude larger than what any difference in gravitational energy potential could produce. In other words, and any knowledgeable person could hardly disagree, the effect we see on the diffraction pattern can only be due to gravitational torque affecting the mirrors. This we know and can see it so well in the video. LIGO's high tech equipment should prevent that, though, right? Sorry, Einstein, the design violates Einstein's theories. But it's easier to sucker the taxpayer out of 1.1 billion bucks by using Einstein's prediction that the arms will shorten unevenly than by admitting the laser beams wouldn't notice. The builders knew the mirrors would twitch, though, and let them know something happened. LIGO is so sensitive they claim that it will detect the shortening of one four kilometer arm by only one ten thousands the diameter of a single proton. Any reason we should question that? We have a saying back home, screw ya once, shame on you, screw ya twice, shame on me. Millions of bucks were spent isolating LIGO from external vibration. No gravitational blip would phase a photon, but the slightest burp from a black hole would pass right through the thickest padding and whack good those mirrors hanging by a thread thinner than a human hair. It's interesting to see how there was no shame in duping taxpayers with Gooseneck's idea, but those mirrors will still jump from the collisions of black holes. Do watch the YouTube video.

The thing is, if either of us was to come up with an experiment that could prove gravity was a resistance to the ground expanding outwards by cosmic expansion, it would be flushed down the toilet faster than the speed of light. Yet our goal is not worldly acclaim. We seek only satisfaction from finding the truth for ourselves. That can only be done by ignoring the party propaganda and saturating ourselves with knowledge of the truth. I've been wracking my brains to come up with such an experiment and believe it can't be done any better than it has already. To me, the redshift when properly understood is proof enough but will clearly never be good enough to unseat any of Einstein's supporters. They wouldn't risk their jobs and suffer no shame over pulling our LIGO's. Even Einstein's theory claims that gravity is the Earth accelerating upwards and not we who are falling, though for much different reasons. With Einstein his predictions are always uncanny, but his reasoning equally crooked. We need to demonstrate convincingly that local space (and not just the Earth) is expanding and this expansion is a critical feature of the universe with profound effect throughout it. It puts pressure against the "windward" center of mass and resistance to this pressure accumulates proportional to the mass affected and we call it gravity. Cosmic redshift is proof enough when combined with the experimental evidence from changes in clocks and meter sticks that would and do make such changes imperceptible.

How about entropy? That's just another way of saying time, isn't it? Cosmic (universal) time is a function of the outward expansion of space, that's what cosmologists have been telling us. And so the passage of local time is also ruled by gravitational field density as predicted so well by Einstein. And with every increment of expansion and time the entropy of the universe increases. That's the second law of thermodynamics, no exceptions have ever been found. But once again, I see no way of proving that both gravity and entropy are the result of cosmic expansion, even though it is in fact the power driving every event in the cosmic machine. Anybody, out there? If we accept cosmic redshift as proof of cosmic expansion, why not take the next obvious step? We see Einstein's proven expansion of meters and clocks at higher elevations. We know the universe is expanding. Why not make one last good inference and accept that universal expansion is the universal cause of gravity? Oh, damn, I forgot. If the masses knew too much, the taxpayers would revolt!

The proof of the pudding is in the eating they say. The canned mainstream line is that cosmic expansion is too feeble locally to cause gravity, yet by their own rules they could have no idea how feeble or not it really is. If as they implicitly admit that an inherent property of mass is (cosmic) expansion and the mass of Earth contributes to local gravity, no arguments against expansion causing gravity can hold weight. Having no proof against the truth is exactly why discussion is banned in mainstream circles. We have Einstein's own expansion of static rulers and clocks from one gravitational potential to the next to prove that expansion of space cannot be perceived or measured, yet the mainstream doesn't balk at cosmic redshift being proof that the cosmos is expanding. The mainstream argument against expansion as the cause of gravity is hypocritical and manifestly unfair.

Expansion gave birth to time itself shortly after the Big Bang, as if we weren't still part of the Big Bang. After 13.8 billion years (or roughly half that if you go by the cosmic watch beginning at zero and gradually running faster until reaching our current rate. And space is still unfolding. Take note that cosmologists can only measure the size of the universe in terms of the "time" it takes light to travel through an expanding universe! Yet they foolishly and blindly dismiss expansion as any consequence to us. How can light accelerate away from mass unless it is being assisted by the expansion of space? Answer the question. Of course the energy of light diminishes at the same time, but that doesn't answer the question. The reason we aren't carried aloft with it is that we, being mass, resist the expansion within a web called spacetime. Our resistance to cosmic and local gravitational expansion is what keeps us stuck to the planet, but it cannot be perceived even with the most sensitive instruments embedded in the same web.

Conversely, light approaching Earth is blue shifted because space is contracted towards the center of mass, not being pulled but unwinding like a coiled spring. Just as physicists agree that the smaller universe represents the past, expansion of space carries us forward into the future. Look at the second hand on your watch. That's the expansion of space. You can never go back or measure changes in your dimensions because of the effect gravity has on space and time, but you feel it against your feet because spatial expansion exerts a real pressure on smaller bodies of mass. Ponder it. Every physical part of you was once bound within the seed that started the Big Bang and took 13.8 billion years to become you.  This Foos Research web site has provided a solid, logical proof. Einstein's predictions ought be all the experimental verification required. Friedman's model, had it not been obscured by the shadow of Einstein and politics of science, would have won our hearts and minds a hundred years ago. Having no defense against us is the only reason the subject is still barred from open discussion as if it were the ranting of crackpots. Even crackpots get more press those of us who hold the key to gravity. Truth has always hidden from the masses because the rich could not be rich without keeping the rest of the world stupid and poor.

Now, do you also see so clearly that a fractal universe is much more that a metaphysical intuition floating around the Internet? The universe is a real, living fractal that rapidly propels us outward through space and time. The size and shape of our bodies has been molded by 13.8 billion years of expansion. Can you see it, yet? Every atom in our bodies is pulling away from every other atom! while we ride on the crest of a cosmic expansion continually unfolding and, blossoming into innumerable galaxies, planets and humans until it all eventually dissipates into oblivion billions of years from now. The universe is all things bursting forth from the mind of God. Matthew 13: 31   Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
